The Police in Kisoro District are investigating circumstances surrounding the mysterious death of a 40 year old man identified as Hategeka Bosco a resident of Gasarara village in Soko Parish in Muramba Sub-county whose body was today morning found lying along the road at  Kanyenka Trading Center towards his home.

This was confirmed by Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate who said that the deceased left home yesterday evening to go and attend a vigil of their relative at Rusenyi village within Muramba Sub-county leaving his wife who was also preparing to go and attend the vigil of another person who had died in the nearby village. MUST READHow Single Ugandan Mother of 3 Makes 3M Weekly at Home, This is a Real True Story!

However, today morning when the wife was coming from the vigil heading home, she received a phone call from the relatives informing her that her husband was found lying along the road where she proceeded to the same scene and confirmed the unfortunate incident.

The case of suspected murder was reported at Kisoro Central Police Station by George Haguma, the scene was visited, processed and documented, the canine dog tried to track but in vain and the body was examined at the scene of crime and handed over to the relatives for decent burial.

Maate explained that the deceased was found with deep cut at the chin, injuries on the chest and with a big stone placed on his head and investigations are underway to establish the motive and have the suspects identified and arrested for prosecution.

Meanwhile in similar circumstances, the Police in Rubanda District are investigating circumstances under which a 65 year old Ruhugye Zaverio, a resident of Kitojo village in Bubare Sub County was allegedly murdered and his body was found lying along the way to his home.

It’s reported that Ruhugye went back home after grazing cattle and proceeded to Hakabungo Trading Centre for leisure and later in night the wife after waiting for him all in vain went to the Trading Centre looking for him but she did not find him.

Maate explained that it was today morning when one of the sons identified as Agaba Urban was from Hakabungo Trading Centre where he operates a shop and found the lifeless body of his father lying near the road on the way to their home.

He made an alarm that attracted other people who came to find out what had happened and the matter was then reported to Police who responded to the scene and the body was examined and documented and a postmortem examination was conducted at the crime scene.

The Police has since appealed to anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the perpetrators involved to volunteer it in confidence so that they are arrested and charged accordingly.
